I'm a product designer who works at the intersection of design, engineering, and product strategy.

I have a computer science degree and started my career as a design engineer, and both still shape how I work.

I'm drawn to technically complex problems, small teams, and domains where design requires deep domain understanding and a high bar for craft.

I currently lead product design at Axiom.

Design lead I work with cross-functional teams to lead design, understand people and businesses, and shape experiences that solve problems well.

Developer experience I have a degree in computer science and product experience as a developer. I still code as part of my design process to explore concepts and components.

Strategy Experience in both product and agency teams, working closely with founders, engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to evolve strategy, prioritise impact and deliver value.

Domains My recent work has been in developer tooling and observability, but I've worked across a range of technical B2B domains, with 0-1 and 1-n products.

Craft I balance the contrasting needs of specific feature work while making sure they fit within the wider, cohesive and high quality, design system.

Prototyping Increasingly working with agentic systems to prototype and explore concepts, in addition to more traditional sketching and design work in Figma.

Leadership Although I am a senior individual contributor, rather than a manager, I can lead design with other designers and design engineers, providing them support and mentorship.

Current

I’m currently senior product designer at Axiom, building tooling to efficiently collect, store, and analyse event, telemetry and AI data at massive scale.

At Axiom I lead product design across the entire experience, balancing focused feature design and wider design system craft, while designing for the workflows of observability and AI engineering teams.

Previous

Before Axiom, I co-led design and product at Plain, building modern support tooling. I have also had senior and staff level design roles at Hopin and Songkick.

Prior to those, I was a design engineer, covering both the design and frontend development roles of product development, working with many early stage startups such as Olio and Open Bionics .
